If you like to shop online but hate shipping charges there is a way to keep them in line; fewer but larger orders.

There are multiple methods of calculating shipping charges, but the most common method is to use the carrier's shipping chart. Each carrier establishes a processing fee based on the origination of the shipment and the area being shipped to. Then the shipping fee increases based the weight of the entire order. Normally, as the weight increases the total shipping cost increases only slightly. Using the example of a 5 lb item that ships from our distribution facility to New Jersey it would cost $11.73 to ship via FedEx Home delivery at today's rate. If you were to order two 5 lb items the shipping would increase to $12.94, only $1.21 more. If your a baby boomer you probably remember the riots, civil unrest, hippies and the sexual revolution. While today's economic problems are much different the "movement" is very similar. 

A small group of people are brave enough to take a stand and protest on Wall St. Then a few more gather and a few more cities join in and all of a sudden there is a national movement. 

It's time our elected leaders take note and do the right thing for the people and the country they represent.  No one wins when government is grid locked.
